Antam Gold Price Tumbles to Rp1,888,000 per Gram Today

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Gold prices from PT Aneka Tambang, or Antam, were recorded at Rp1,888,000 per gram today in the trading session, Saturday, May 31, 2025. Referring to Logam Mulia's website, the gold price dropped by Rp12,000 from the previous day, which was at the level of Rp1,900,000 per gram.

At the beginning of the week, the Antam gold price opened at Rp1,919,000 per gram, rising to Rp1,923,000 per gram on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.

The next day, the price of gold plummeted to the level of Rp1,895,000 per gram. The decline also occurred on Thursday, May 29, 2025, when the price dropped to the level of Rp1,874,000 per gram. However, the price of Antam gold bars rose again to Rp1,900,000 on Friday, May 30, 2025.

Meanwhile, the buyback price of Antam gold bars today dropped by Rp22,000 to Rp1,732,000 per gram. Buyback transactions above Rp10,000,000 will incur a 1.5 percent income tax or PPh 22.

This regulation follows the Amendment to the Minister of Finance Regulation Number 112/PMK.03/2022 concerning the Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) for individuals, businesses, and government agencies. This amendment also includes using the Population Identification Number (NIK) as the NPWP. PPh 22 will be automatically deducted from the total value of sales or buyback transactions.
