TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesian National Police (Polri) has deployed 1,700 combined personnel to secure the final match of the International FIFA Series 2026 at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (GBK) in Central Jakarta. The match between Indonesia and Bulgaria is scheduled on Monday, March 30, 2026. In addition, the match for third place between Solomon and Saint Kitts and Nevis will also be held on the same day.

The Central Jakarta Police Chief, Commissioner General Reynold E.P. Hutagalung, said that the personnel are tasked with maintaining order in the area around the stadium. "A total of 1,700 combined personnel will secure the International FIFA Series football match at GBK, which will be held in two sessions," he said in a written statement on Monday.

Reynold explained that the third-place match will start at 3:30 PM local time. Meanwhile, the final match will start at 8:00 PM.

Security personnel are from the Jakarta Metropolitan Police, the Central Jakarta Police, the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), the Jakarta Provincial Government, and other relevant parties. Officers will position personnel at various locations in the GBK area, including the entrance gates, the match area, and the surrounding Senayan area.

Reynold emphasized that all personnel will prioritize a humanistic approach. "We will not use tear gas without leadership orders, and no personnel will carry firearms during security operations," he said.

He also urged supporters not to bring prohibited items such as firecrackers, flares, sharp weapons, narcotics, or alcoholic beverages into the stadium. "We hope that supporters will remain orderly and refrain from anarchic behavior or damaging public facilities," said Reynold.

Additionally, the police will manage traffic flow in the Senayan area as needed to prevent congestion. Reynold urged road users to find alternative routes and avoid the GBK area during the matches.
