Danantara Plays a Strategic Role in Infrastructure Development, Says Minister

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development (IPK) Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono alias AHY stated that Danantara plays a strategic role in infrastructure development. He has communicated with Danantara's CEO, Rosan Roeslani, and his team regarding potential investments that could be allocated."

"We hope for good collaboration," AHY said in a press conference at the International Conference on Infrastructure (ICI) 2025 at the Jakarta International Convention Center on Wednesday, June 11, 2025.

AHY plans to present to Danantara the projects that could become investment priorities. Moreover, on the second day of the ICI 2025 on Thursday, Rosan is scheduled to attend. "From this ICI forum, it is hoped that after that, we can better arrange what needs to be prioritized, what can be postponed, and how much funding we need. Certainly, Danantara is one of the determining factors," he said.

The Coordinating Ministry for Infrastructure and Regional Development (Kemenko IPK) held the ICI 2025 on June 11-12, 2025, as a strategic forum to discuss the direction of infrastructure development for the next five years. The conference raises topics that are closely related to infrastructure transformation, connectivity, resilience, and financing.

AHY said the event was attended by delegations of various stakeholders, including from the diplomatic corps and businesses from various countries. Starting from ASEAN countries, China, Japan, South Korea, Australia, India, and countries from Europe, Africa, and America.

"So, we want to specifically convey to anyone who is interested in investing in Indonesia by presenting projects that will be carried out over the next five years," said the Chairman of the Democratic Party.
