TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesia contributes the second highest number of tourists to Singapore after China. According to data from the official website of the Singapore Tourism Board, as of 3 February 2026, the number of Indonesian tourists in Singapore was 2.4 million, below China, which recorded 3.1 million. The third place goes to Malaysia with 1.3 million, followed by Australia with 1.3 million and India with 1.2 million.
The total international tourist arrivals in Singapore throughout 2025 reached 16.9 million, up 2.3 percent compared to 2024.
The country also recorded growing arrivals from countries such as Germany, the United States, Malaysia, and Japan.
But Singapore noted a drop in tourist arrival from various countries, including Vietnam and the Philippines, compared to 2024.
Record-breaking Revenue
The international tourist arrivals generated tourism revenue of S$23.9 billion or Rp316.8 trillion in the first three quarters, breaking records and up 6.5 percent from 2024.
Melissa Ow, Chief Executive of the Singapore Tourism Board, said that the strong performance of tourism revenue in 2025 places Singapore on a stable path towards achieving the Tourism 2040 ambition.
To maintain this growth momentum and strengthen the destination's appeal, Singapore strives to develop a range of different products, events, and experiences.
Tourism growth is expected to continue, with a number of shows and events planned to attract visitors, such as the Formula 1 Grand Prix, BTS concert, and many more. In addition, the Singapore Tourism Board estimates that the number of international tourists in 2026 will reach between 17 and 18 million, generating around S$31-32.5 billion in tourism revenue.
