TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) has adjusted its operating patterns in anticipation of an increase in community movement during the Eid holiday. "This step is a follow-up to the Eid Holiday Operation Plan 2026 from the Jakarta Provincial Transportation Agency to support the smooth flow of homecoming, return trips, and access to tourist locations," said PT Transportasi Jakarta's CEO, Welfizon Yuza, in a written statement on Tuesday, March 17, 2026.
The period of adjustment for Transjakarta's operation patterns will take place from March 13 to March 29, 2026.
Here are the details of the changes in Transjakarta's operation patterns during the Eid holiday.
Reactivation of Route 10C
The route connecting Tanjung Priok Port-Tanjung Priok will operate from March 13-29, 2026, with operational hours adjusted to the arrival schedule of ships.
Extended Service Hours
The operational hours for routes passing through intercity KAI stations such as Gambir Station and Pasar Senen Station, as well as transit stations, will be extended until 11:59 PM WIB (Western Indonesia Time) from March 25-29, 2026.
Late Night Transport Service (AMARI)
24-hour bus operations will remain available on main corridors such as corridors 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, and 14.
EID Special Routes
Transjakarta will open assistance routes (EID1 - EID5) connecting Terminal Pulo Gebang to various other terminals in Jakarta such as Senen, Tanjung Priok, Kampung Rambutan, Pasar Minggu, and Kalideres from 12:00 AM-5:00 AM WIB during March 25-27, 2026.
Eid al-Fitr Service Adjustment
Transjakarta will start operations later than the regular schedule on the first day of Eid al-Fitr, which is March 21 or 22, 2026.
Buses will start operating at 09:00 AM WIB to allow the drivers and field officers to perform Eid prayers.
During this period, Transjakarta will implement Eid holiday fares. On Eid al-Fitr Day, customers can enjoy Transjakarta's services at its special fare of Rp 1.
Tourist Area Service
During the Eid holiday period from March 18-24, 2026, Transjakarta will provide routes to the main tourist spots in Jakarta. Regular service hours will be from 05:00 AM to 11:59 PM WIB.
Meanwhile, the tourist bus service hours will be from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM WIB. Here are the travel routes to the main tourist spots in Jakarta.
- Ancol: Routes 5 and 1W.
- Ragunan: Routes 6, 6A, 6B, 6V, 5N, 6N, and 7E.
- Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII): Route 7D.
- Old Town & Monas: Routes 1, 2, 2A, 3, 3H, 12, 1A, 12B, and others.
PT Transportasi Jakarta ensures that the implementation of this special Eid holiday service will not disrupt the performance and quality of the existing regular routes. Additionally, customers are advised to monitor the latest information on Transjakarta's official social media accounts or via the TJ:Transjakarta app.
