TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Bali regional police have named three Australian nationals as suspects in the shooting of two Australian citizens at Villa Casa Santisya 1 in Munggu Village, Badung Regency. Police chief Inspector General Daniel Adityajaya said the three were suspected to be the perpetrators behind the shooting that resulted in one casualty.
"We are confident that the three are the perpetrators, the executors. All three have been named as suspects, they're Australian nationals according to their passports," Daniel said during a press conference at the Badung Resort Police, Bali, on Wednesday, June 18, 2025.
The three suspects are Tupou Pasa Midolmore (37 years old), Coskunmevlut (23 years old), and Darcy Francesco Jenson (37 years old). Daniel explained that the three suspects are believed to be the shooters based on evidence and information gathered by the investigators.
According to the Regional Police Chief, the mastermind behind the shooting was believed to be Darcy Francesco, while the other two were involved as executors at the crime scene.
However, the Bali Regional Police Chief stated that they will continue to investigate the roles of the three suspects in detail, given that they had only arrived in Bali on Tuesday night, June 17, 2025.
"From several pieces of evidence, the indications point to these three individuals, we were only able to question them last night," he said.
Daniel explained that the three suspects will be charged with premeditated murder and homicide, as well as theft. Police are still probing the suspects at the headquarters of the Badung District Police.
"We are still investigating the motives," he said.
