Pertamina Boosts 3 Kg LPG Supply 49 Percent for Easter Holiday

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Pertamina Patra Niaga has increased the supply of 3 kg Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) by about 49 percent from the daily average distribution, which is 779,800 cylinders, for the entire East Java region. The additional supply is to meet the needs during the long Easter holiday on April 3-5, 2026.

"This amount is expected to be sufficient to meet the needs of the community during this long weekend so that they can enjoy the long weekend comfortably," said Area Manager Communication, Relations & CSR of Pertamina Patra Niaga for the East Java and Bali regions, Ahad Rahedi, as quoted from Antara on Sunday, April 5, 2026.

Ahad urges the public to remain calm and not to make excessive purchases because the energy stock is in a safe and sufficient condition. He advises that people should not panic buy and should purchase wisely according to their needs.

"People should not easily be provoked by information that may not be true. Do not let the public's concerns be exploited by irresponsible individuals," he said.

Pertamina also urges the public to use 3 kg LPG according to its purpose, namely the 3-kilogram LPG product which is a subsidy specifically for the less fortunate. He also ensures that Pertamina will continue to monitor the locations to ensure the distribution of fuel and LPG runs smoothly.
