TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto summoned a number of economic ministers from the Red and White Cabinet to his private residence in Hambalang, Bogor, West Java, on Sunday afternoon, February 15, 2026. The information was conveyed by Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya through the official Instagram account @sekretariat.kabinet.
As seen in the Instagram post, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, Minister of Investment and Downstream Rosan Perkasa Roeslani, and State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi were present, sitting at a round table.
According to Teddy, Prabowo, during the meeting, emphasized that Indonesia's stance during talks with any countries, especially the upcoming meeting with Washington, is one that brings the best benefits for Indonesia.
"The President [Prabowo] wants negotiations to raise domestic industrial productivity and strengthen the global supply chain," wrote Teddy on his Instagram account on Sunday, February 15, 2026.
Prabowo also instructed his ministers to adopt policies that result in concrete gains for Indonesia.
Prabowo is said to sign the tariff deal between Indonesia and the United States soon. According to Coordinating Minister Airlangga, the head of state is planning to attend an event in the U.S. on February 19, 2026.
The Presidential Palace had previously confirmed that Prabowo had received an invitation to the inaugural meeting of the Trump-backed Board of Peace on that date.
“The President is scheduled to attend the event on the 19th, and around that time there are plans to sign the ART, or agreement on reciprocal tariff,” Airlangga said after a closed-door meeting at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Wednesday, February 11.
