
TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto has summoned Finance Minister Sri Mulyani and State-Owned Enterprises Minister Erick Thohir for a restricted meeting to discuss various incentives aimed at boosting national economic growth.
Upon arriving at the Presidential Palace complex in Jakarta on Monday, June 2, Erick said that the meeting would focus on preparing incentive policies, which will be part of the government's strategy to accelerate economic recovery and growth.
"[The assignment] remains under the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises. There are several key points [discussed] to support economic growth," he remarked.
Erick indicated that important topics discussed in the meeting included potential discounts and other forms of incentives. However, he could not elaborate on the specific policies before their official determination in the meeting.
"Indeed, some matters may be announced after this meeting. Yes, discounts and others. I am not permitted to disclose them before this restricted meeting concludes," he explained.
In addition to Erick Thohir, other attendees at the restricted meeting included Manpower Minister Yassierli, Head of Statistics Indonesia (BPS) Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti, Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati, Social Affairs Minister Saifullah Yusuf, and Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Bahlil Lahadalia.
Also present were Tourism Minister Widiyanti Putri Wardhana, Agriculture Minister Andi Amran Sulaiman, and Public Works Minister Doddy Hanggono.
