Prabowo Scheduled to Join ICI 2025 Tomorrow

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto will attend the International Conference on Infrastructure (ICI) 2025 tomorrow, Thursday, June 12, 2025. Coordinating Minister for Maritime and Investment Affairs (Menko IPK) Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) conveyed this.

"Bapak President, Prabowo Subianto, will graciously attend this ICI event, which will conclude the two-day series. God willing, this event will contribute to the development of our infrastructure," said AHY in a press conference after the opening of the ICI 2025 event at the Jakarta International Convention Center, Wednesday, June 11, 2025.

Menko IPK held ICI 20225 as a strategic forum to discuss the direction of infrastructure development for the next five years. This conference addresses topics that are closely related to infrastructure transformation, connectivity, resilience, and financing.

AHY stated that various stakeholders would attend, including members of the diplomatic corps and business communities from countries such as ASEAN, China, Japan, South Korea, Australia, India, and countries in Europe, Africa, and the Americas.

"We want to convey to anyone interested in investing in Indonesia that we will showcase projects to be carried out over the next five years," said the Chairman of the Democratic Party.

Previously, Rachmat Kaimuddin, Deputy of Basic Infrastructure Coordination of Menko IPK, stated that the ministry would offer several infrastructure projects amounting to around Rp200 trillion. He said the list of projects would be published on the website later.

"If they (investors) want to meet with the project providers afterwards, we will provide rooms for them," said Rachmat on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, as quoted from Antara.
