Unlike Thanos, whose immense power depended largely on the Infinity Stones, Doctor Doom has traditionally been portrayed in Marvel Comics as the ruler of Latveria and one of the world's greatest scientific minds, rivaling Reed Richards of the Fantastic Four. In the comics, Doom is also a powerful sorcerer, although it remains unclear how much of that mythology will carry over into the MCU.

2. Loki returns from the multiverse
After the ending of Loki Season 2, many viewers believed Loki would remain permanently seated at the center of the multiverse, maintaining its countless timelines. However, the trailer briefly shows him back in the real world carrying a Time Variance Authority (TVA) identification card featuring the World Tree, Yggdrasil. The scene suggests Loki may have discovered a way to oversee the multiverse without remaining bound to his throne.

3. Spider-Man remains absent
Despite featuring dozens of Marvel heroes, the trailer contains no appearance or mention of Spider-Man. Reports have suggested Tom Holland may not appear in Avengers: Doomsday because of scheduling conflicts with Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey.
