TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - HYBE x Geffen Records' girl group KATSEYE is reportedly collaborating with singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran and actor Demi Moore for the release of their new song titled "Animal".
According to a report by the Korea Herald on Friday, July 24, citing ANTARA, Katseye released the single "Animal," which is described as a fast-paced pop song with a strong rhythm and a touch of electronic music.
Ed Sheeran co-wrote KATSEYE's latest single, "Animal," with Snow Patrol members and producers Johnny McDaid, Blake Slatkin, and songwriter Omer Fedi.
The music video for “Animal” was directed by Cody Critcheloe, who previously directed KATSEYE’s “Touch” and “Gnarly,” as well as the Katseye, Le Sserafim, and Illit collaboration “Iconic By Mistake.”
In the music video for "Animal," Demi Moore appears near the end, shifting between an office setting and a red-lit performance space. The video depicts the tension between self-control and instinctual impulses. The song's choreography also features claw-like movements, reinforcing the song's main theme.
The song "Animal" will be included on KATSEYE's third EP, "Wild," which is scheduled for release on August 14.
