Top European Clubs on the Hunt for Indonesian Captain Jay Idzes

His strong performances in Serie A and the 2026 World Cup qualifiers have elevated his profile significantly.

During a recent national team training camp held in Bali, Idzes addressed the swirling transfer rumors. While affirming his commitment to his current club, he acknowledged being open to a potential move.

"Right now, I still have a contract with Venezia. But we will see what happens. Simple, an easy answer," said Jay Idzes.

With Venezia relegated to Serie B this season, the likelihood of a transfer for the 24-year-old defender has grown. Idzes remains under contract with Venezia until June 2027 and is currently valued at around 20 million euros.

Juventus is another Serie A heavyweight linked with Idzes. Italian journalist Antonello Angelini noted that Venezia has set a 20 million euro price tag. Idzes' memorable goal against Juventus in December 2024 is believed to have sparked their interest.

3. Genoa

As reported by TransferFeed, Genoa is eyeing Idzes as a potential replacement for Koni de Winter. His composed performances, including a standout display against Napoli’s Romelu Lukaku in March, have positioned him as a top defensive option.
