Arsenal Trophy Parade: Date, Route After Premier League Win

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Arsenal are set to hold an open-top bus parade on May 31 after winning the Premier League title for the first time in 22 years, ending Manchester City’s dominance in one of the closest title races in recent seasons.

As reported by The Standard, Arsenal officially secured the Premier League trophy after Manchester City were held to a 1-1 draw by Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Tuesday night.

City needed a victory to keep their title hopes alive after Arsenal defeated Burnley 1-0 a day earlier. However, Bournemouth forward Eli Junior Kroupi scored before halftime to put Arsenal on the brink of becoming champions.

Although Erling Haaland equalized deep into stoppage time, the draw was not enough to stop celebrations in north London, with Arsenal clinching their first league title since the famous “Invincibles” campaign under Arsène Wenger in the 2003/04 season.

The title victory also marked a major achievement for Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, who has rebuilt the club into Premier League champions after several years outside the title race.

Arsenal are now chasing a historic double as they prepare to face Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League final in Budapest on May 30.

The club plans to hold its trophy parade the following day, regardless of the result in the European final. If Arsenal defeat PSG, both the Premier League and Champions League trophies are expected to be showcased during the parade.

Date and Route

According to The Sun, Arsenal’s parade is expected to begin either in the morning or around lunchtime on Sunday, May 31, due to scheduling constraints involving players joining their national teams ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Although Arsenal have not officially confirmed the route, previous parade plans started at Emirates Stadium before traveling through Drayton Park, Aubert Park, Highbury Grove, St Paul’s Road, and Upper Street before returning to the stadium.

The quick turnaround between the Champions League final and the parade is expected to create logistical challenges for both players and supporters. Arsenal’s squad is likely to return from Budapest only hours before the celebrations begin in London.

Fans traveling to Hungary for the final may also need to rush back to north London in time for the parade, which will take place less than 24 hours after the match at Puskás Aréna.
